The AIIA Gala Dinner speaker this year will be Treasurer of Australia the Honourable Dr Jim Chalmers MP.


This year's Gala Dinner will be held at the National Arboretum on the evening of 11 November. You can purchase separate tickets for the dinner here. However, gala dinner tickets can also be purchased as a heavily discounted bundle with AIIA National Conference tickets.

With over 44,000 rare and endangered trees across a 250-hectare site, the Arboretum is a place of beauty and conservation, offering breathtaking views. At the reception immediately prior to the dinner, dinner guests will have the option of an exclusive viewing of the arboretum's special bonsai collection.


Gala dinner attire is tenue de ville​ or semi-formal. ​Gala dinner attendees must hold a ticket to the dinner.

Sponsors who have purchased special package deals for multiple attendees of the conference day may not purchase this ticket for those attendees. Purchasers must be AIIA members, and their membership must be valid at the time of purchase and at the time of the 2023 conference.
