Event Details

This year's AIIA National Gala Dinner will be held at the National Arboretum on the evening of 13 November. Gala dinner tickets can also be purchased as a heavily discounted bundle with AIIA National Conference tickets. Read about the conference here​ and get bundled ticket discounts HERE.


With over 44,000 rare and endangered trees across a 250-hectare site, the Arboretum is a place of beauty and conservation, offering breathtaking views. At the reception immediately prior to the dinner, dinner guests will have the option of an exclusive viewing of the arboretum's special bonsai collection.

The gala dinner speaker this year will be Former Japanese Prime Ministers ASO Taro.


Gala dinner attire is tenue de ville​ or semi-formal.​ Gala dinner attendees must hold a ticket to the dinner. Tickets to the dinner sold out within two weeks of the announcement of the speaker last year and are selling faster this year.

Purchasers must be AIIA members, and their membership must be valid at the time of purchase and at the time of the 2023 conference.
